The BSc in Applied Accounting aims to prepare students for a career as a professional accountant and to equip them to make a wider contribution to their organisations, communities and society. It does this by adding in-corporating students’ professional accountancy studies into an academic programme and by enhancing and extending the knowledge and skills achieved through professional examinations.
Entry requirements for BSc in Applied Accounting have been set in order to take in potential students, who have proven academic ability and are able to display a solid foundation of skills in both Mathematics and English.
Applicants must be at least 17 years of age at the start of the academic year.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR CITIZENS OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN
Applicants must have studied a broad range of subjects and have a school leaving certificate equivalent to the certificate of complete secondary education in Uzbekistan (lyceums, colleges) or 11th grade school certificate (attestat).
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGN CITIZENS
Applicants must have successfully completed secondary school education.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS*
• pass a assessment test of English Language at GRBS ACCA Learning Centre in Tashkent
• have IELTS 4.5, TOEFL 34 or PTE Academic score of 35.
* at the end of the second year (after passing ACCA TX-Taxation exam) students must have either IELTS 6.0 ( no less than 6.0 in reading and writing; 5.5 in listening and speaking), TOEFL 60 or PTE Academic 50.
Applicants must have an acceptable level of competence in Mathematics.
This could be demonstrated by passing an entrance Mathematics test at GRBS ACCA Learning Centre in Tashkent.
In case the results of Mathematics and English exams passed at GRBS are lower than required, GRBS recommends to attend intensive Mathematics and English courses.
